Corrupted Memory
Half bone, half void — the figure stands between existence and memory. On the left, the skull represents the body’s inevitable decay, stripped of identity, emotion, and time. On the right, the shadowed silhouette contains a window glowing with a distant city bathed in sunset hues. That city is not real — it is a memory, a longing, a dream still flickering inside the darkness. It is the life once lived, or perhaps the life never achieved. The glowing horizon could be a farewell or an invitation, depending on who gazes upon it. Is the figure already dead, clinging to what remains of consciousness, or is it still alive, haunted by the future? This artwork whispers a single question: Are we defined by what we are, or by what we remember?
