Dead Eyes Living Shadows
In the forsaken village of Black Hollow, four children vanished one stormy night, their laughter replaced by whispers in the wind. Decades later, a wandering girl named Elara stumbled upon an eerie, abandoned manor. As she stepped inside, a cold breath caressed her neck.
The portraits lining the walls bore cracked faces with hollow, glowing red eyes. Suddenly, shadows twisted into the forms of four ghostly children, their porcelain-like skin marred by fractures. They reached out, their whispers pleading, "Set us free."
Elara, terrified yet entranced, followed their gaze to an ancient lantern. A flickering flame danced inside. With trembling hands, she lifted it, and a deafening wail filled the air. The spirits dissolved into the wind, their curse lifted.
As dawn broke, the manor crumbled to dust. Elara turned to leave, but her reflection in a puddle revealed her own eyes—now glowing red.
