Threshold of Witness
Some of the deepest transformations happen in places where no one can see them.
Threshold of Witness explores the invisible boundaries between confinement, consciousness, and the possibility of escape. A solitary figure sits before an illuminated doorway while a larger presence remains imprisoned behind the bars above. Two versions of existence occupy the same architecture, separated by distance, perception, and the limitations of their surroundings.
But the structure begins to fracture.
Color shifts violently. Reality slips between frames. The seated figure breaks from its position, appearing and disappearing as it moves toward the imprisoned presence above. What once seemed permanent becomes unstable.
The glitch is not simply a disruption. It becomes the possibility of movement through a system designed to prevent it.
Perhaps freedom begins when the boundaries we have accepted as permanent reveal themselves to be nothing more than fragile constructions.
And sometimes the only way forward is to become the error the system never anticipated.
