Dreamy Sunset
This photo is related to the unique beach of Bandar Abbas city in the south of Iran.
The fishermen of this city put wooden rods in the water at regular intervals so that they can catch fish due to the tide. This method of fishing is called "Moshta".
In this method, sticks are planted on the beach and a fence is created using a net, which when the water rises, a number of aquatic animals enter it, and when the water goes down, the aquatic animals inside are caught by fishermen.
Also, when the sea water rises, the fish-eating birds sit on the wooden poles of the Moshtas to rest and take advantage of this opportunity to catch trapped fish. In fact, they steal from the fishermen's catch.
This type of fishing is done in most of the southern coasts of Iran.
