By how often you’re told that this isn’t like you, that you’re completely different. How tired you are of hearing: ‘But you were different as a child; you didn’t do that.’ As a child, you weren’t yet your true self. A person changes and develops throughout their entire life. Through the experiences and trials they go through. How can others know who you are and how you want to express yourself? Many years from now, I know I’ll hear that phrase again — ‘you used to be different’. And it will be true — I’ll be different with every year that passes. But that will be ‘me’ in the fullest sense of the word. To manifest in this world in a way that only you can.
