The initial creation of the collection served no broader purpose but to test the bounds of the AI models in creating various “forbidden” subject matter, while also remaining visually captivating, and emotionally stimulating. As the variable prompting evolved to continue achieving the desired outputs, the renders became increasingly shocking and raised questions of audience, participant, power, and class. Who has no choice but to fight, and who gets to be entertained? Who goes to war, and who profits? Both “in the ring” and in the lives we lead each day as part of stratified class society? Each artwork is an individually prompted raw AI output rendered using GPT Image 2. This collection represents works #712-#761 created by GAWD.
