‘One more bite’

‘Addicted to you’

Your fake kindness lands like the first slick bite rich, reckless, melting on my tongue. Empath heart, I lean into your false light, while you carve the dark where you belong. Narcissist mirror, you flash and fade, love-bomb sweet, then silent as a grave. My trauma bond tightens like sugar in my veins, I chase the rush, addicted to the crave. “Just one more bite,” I whisper in the night, one more text, one more chance to taste the high. Through your hot and Cold behavior I realized, It was all a lie. You feast on my giving, leave me starved and spent, cycle spinning like a glutton’s regret. I mock the hunger now, call its bluff, and repent, this feast of pain is one I won’t forget. Fork down. Plate pushed. I spit the venom fruit. No more crumbs dressed up as a heathy meal. I let you go, cold turkey, clean and true, so my scars can close and my own light can heal. Whole, not hollow, I rise without your name. Boundaries sharp as the knife I finally lay. The heart that once begged now calls a better game, steady love, kind love, the kind that chooses to stay. No longer addicted. No longer starved for you. I’ve had my last bite, and I’m finally through. Ive created this artwork using AI and employed dark fantasy modern surrealism. Inspired in imagery from wolf modern day fantasy love movies i created this work using my personal story.
