Film For The Culture
Anticipation
While I’ve been to Navy Pier many times, I had never seen it from this perspective. Maybe because it was the first time shooting film there and I was looking for something new in a familiar place.
This photograph is more about a feeling I had seeing how the light, shadows, and color worked together with the leading lines to draw my attention to Navy Pier’s main attraction: The Centennial Wheel. I have many photos of The Centennial Wheel itself, but this was different.
The Centennial Wheel at Navy Pier was introduced in 2016 for the 100 year anniversary of Navy Pier’s first ferris wheel.
