Perito Moreno Glacier
Deep in Los Glaciares National Park, the Perito Moreno Glacier moves slowly but constantly through the valley below the Andes. Massive walls of blue ice rise above the water, creaking and shifting as the glacier advances. Every so often, enormous blocks break away and fall into the lake with a thunderous sound. It’s a place where time feels visible, written in layers of ice that have formed over centuries.
