HOPE
Dream of Peace
I painted this for future generations. It is now the last days of 2024, and many people are still displaced from their homes due to war and oppression. They have fled to the mountains and seas, losing their lives. It is this tragic, this disastrous. Yet, free-spirited people still have dreams—dreams of peace, dreams of freedom, dreams of living with joy. They dream of a world where bombs do not rain down on homes, where children look at shooting stars in the sky at night instead of rockets, and where animals do not flee in terror from the sudden sound of explosions. They dream of a world where no one is superior to another because of race, religion, or place of birth, and borders are meaningless lines on old maps. I hope this dream will one day become the true story of human life. Perhaps one day, someone in the future will see this painting at a time when this dream has been realized...
