Ethereal Utopia
I came across this trail on a morning when the fog hadn’t lifted yet, and everything felt like it was holding its breath. The trees were leaning in on both sides, their bark gone rusty red where the light touched it, and the ground was a soft mess of moss and old leaves. I remember how quiet it was. Not empty, just calm.
I called it Ethereal Utopia because it felt like a place that shouldn’t really exist, somewhere you’d only find if you weren’t looking for it. I tried to keep the photo true to that feeling: the haze, the deep greens, that little path disappearing into the white.
If you’ve ever wanted to just walk off somewhere and let your head go quiet, this one’s for you.
