Ramas
Still
What has already happened
keeps unfolding,
and will soon come to an end.
Whether the sky ends
at the mountain,
or the range lifts away
toward the horizon,
is of little consequence
within the vastness.
To remain still
is far more movement
than we imagine.
We are already part
of the continuum,
even with our feet
upon the earth.
At least three horizons
accompany us forward:
the inevitable,
what we long to become,
and what the universe
will choose from all of this.
I wish to be released
into what lies ahead,
among the things
that wish to see me.
