Unbound
Why account for
so many fragments?
Better to let meaning emerge
while we are distracted,
believing we know ourselves.
Within the detail,
immersed in the cut,
lies what is called irrational,
for I cannot entirely evade myself.
Being knows before thought.
It does not depend on us.
We became ourselves only afterward,
long after we were already
what we are.
Just as light belongs
neither there nor here,
we belong to this
and to every other
unthinkable space and time.
