The “Bonds of Pride” are invisible but strong shackles created by our own ego. Pride, like a quiet wind, can quietly penetrate our lives, leading us away from spiritual harmony. Representing these bonds in our soul is much more difficult than breaking them in a picture. Great wisdom lies in understanding that these bonds exist and that they limit us. As soon as we realize our sins of pride, as soon as we recognize that they are restricting our freedom and well-being, we begin to break them. Slowly but surely, we free ourselves from pride, opening the door to deep spiritual truth and true happiness.
