Abracadabra, avra kadabra, a mouthful of borrowed fire. The props are just wood and paint, and still, they hold the weight of wonder. The props are false. The wonder is not. We became masters of the gentle sleight of hand, to give each other a place where the heavy world couldn’t touch us. Avra kadabra. I will create as I speak. I will mend as I break. I will hold you as I dissolve into the dark. I will become as I surrender. I will reveal as I love. Can you hear me? I will gather as I call. I will soften as I trust. I will disappear as I give. I will discover as I listen. I will transform as I believe. I will leave behind more wonder than certainty. Listen to me. I will create as I speak. I will fold the night into a paper boat and set it on the tongue of the river. I will whisper the map of every possibility and let you choose which route to follow. I will palm a sun and make it vanish, pluck a laugh from thin air and tie it to your wrist. They were never tricks to fool you. They were demonstrations of faith. A hand that knows how to make something disappear also knows how to make a thing return, changed and brighter. A hat is emptied not to hide, but to invent, a scarf undone becomes a river. Abracadabra, avra kadabra. A word is a small altar that we lay our want upon, and the room answers with light. Not every trick survives daylight, but some glow on, a softer, truer kind of magic. To see how the trick was done is not to lose the magic. We didn’t need the spell to be real. We only needed to reach. Mizuyōkaii, 2026 Dimensions: 4550x5680
