Always Has Been is a commentary on the constancy of human nature set against the extraordinary arc of technological progress — and it uses that same technology as the medium through which to examine it. The artwork emerges from a month-long generative process: 28 windows into a simulated reality, each one shaped by audience participation. Generative AI video and images are woven together and housed within a 3D digital sculpture, forming a unified, digitally native object.
