I wanted to visualize the concept of digital growth. I was fascinated by the idea of a structure that looks like a fragment of mechanical DNA—an evolving, rising form that carries the blueprint of the 'Fractal Souls' universe. I focused on the tension between the sharp, crystal-like edges and the fluid, vertical motion. The rose-gold finish adds a sense of warmth and life to a geometry that could otherwise feel cold and calculated. It’s a piece about evolution and the relentless energy that drives a form to reach upward. The Craft: Technically, this work was a study in vertical synchronization and surface tension. I spent a lot of time refining the specular highlights on each individual crystal to ensure that as the helix rotates, the light travels smoothly across the entire length of the sculpture. It’s a deliberate balance between complex procedural modeling and high-fidelity rendering.
