Moments
Alongside
This piece exists because of my wife.
Six years ago, I stood at this same place. I returned not to recreate the image, but to ask myself a question: have I grown? Have I learned? Have I become better with my camera, with myself?
It was not an easy return. I chose the wrong date. The weather was harsh; a sandstorm, followed by sand rain. The wind was relentless. Not a single flower would stay still.
I was frustrated.
But she was there.
Her calm steadied me. Her presence quieted the noise. And somehow, despite everything, the moment came together.
This work is not only about motion on the road.
It is about love beside me; constant, grounding, and stronger than the storm.
