β¨While I was creating this piece, the colors were coming to me so naturally almost like they already knew where they wanted to go.
At some point, I found myself thinking about childhood.
About summer afternoons.
Those slow, warm hours when we would wait for the weather to cool down, just so we could run outside and play in the yard with our neighbors.
There was something so pure about those days.
Everything felt brighter, sharper, louder, and more alive. Colors were not just colors. They were feelings. They were games, laughter, sun-warmed walls, wet hands, messy clothes, and the kind of joy that didnβt need to explain itself.
For me, this painting feels like a place where the inner child can come closer.
A colorful, chaotic, tender space that reminds us of a time before self-censorship before we learned to hide too much, think too much, or make ourselves smaller.
The more I look at it, the more it feels like it wants to become friends with the child inside us.
π©This is not just childhood.
It is the memory of feeling free.βοΈ
