THE EYES WITHIN — Fragments of a Hidden Self
Behind every face lies another world. A world of concealed emotions, forgotten memories, and identities that remain unseen.
THE EYES WITHIN explores the fractured nature of human identity through a surreal portrait of a woman whose face is divided between light and darkness. Multiple eyes emerge from the shadows, each representing a different perspective, a buried emotion, or a truth that refuses to disappear.
The dark hand covering her face becomes a metaphor for suppression, while the glowing eyes symbolize the parts of ourselves that continue to watch, remember, and resist being forgotten.
Bathed in intense crimson and burning orange, this artwork explores the psychological tension between appearance and reality, vulnerability and control, and the endless struggle to understand who we truly are.
Perhaps the most frightening thing is not being watched by someone else, but finally seeing yourself.
