Sweet Things
Sweet Things explores the seductive surface of pleasure, where sweetness becomes a language of emotions, and emotions become something easily consumed.
Set within a surreal and psychedelic world, the artworks trace how emotions are reshaped through New Age ideologies and social media rituals; produced, circulated, and replaced faster than we can fully feel or understand them.
In this virtual space, everything becomes marketable: even emotional performance turns into a brand, a currency, something to be shaped, displayed, and exchanged.
At that speed, even our sense of value begins to blur.
Beneath their playful and decorative appearance lies an uncanny tension, where innocence and corruption, attraction and discomfort, intimacy and distance coexist and collapse into each other.
In Sweet Things, pleasure is never innocent; it is curated, performed, and ultimately consumed.
