A candid moment of my wife and our son. Undiagnosed and untreated preeclampsia during pregnancy caused my wife to suffer from postpartum eclampsia and a stroke. Miraculously we were blessed that she survived and that our son is healthy. In simple moments like this where the love and bond of mother and son is so apparent, a stroll through the cosmetics store becomes a remarkably beautiful moment. There’s balance here. A disability that has forever changed my wife. And an amazing boy who has forever changed our lives and made us a family. She is an amazing mother who acts as his North Star, guiding him the way he should go.
