Still in your single digit years and you exhibit an immense amount of maturity and empathy. A vacation planned many months prior was altered. There were such big emotions in our room when we broke the news that our cruise would have to be cancelled. Once again you felt your feelings and showed your giant heart and brilliant spirit with words that seemed too good to be true. You thanked me and hugged me and asked that me and mom continue to talk with you about hard things and allow you to feel your feelings. A guys’ dinner with blazers, Bics, burgers, and sketchbooks kept us in good spirits. You’re an amazing kid and I’m blessed to share this life with you.
