𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐎 𝐕𝐨𝐥. 𝟏 is the SHA-512 hash of a life story that no one will ever read. Over the past 10 months I have labored over an intimate, raw ~80,000 word autobiographical memoir written on an air-gapped MacBook. The laptop will now be destroyed. {The winner of this piece will get to provide input into the method(s) of destruction and will ultimately receive the remains of the laptop.} 𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭 I’ve long felt a tension between the desire to express myself through art and share my life with an audience while retaining the creative freedom that anonymity affords. This project is an experiment in obfuscated catharsis; expressing everything while sharing nothing. 𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭𒄭 As connoted by the title, 𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐎 𝐕𝐨𝐥. 𝟏 is the first installment of this work covering my life until this point.
