Heading to the beach to remind myself where I learned to surf 8 years ago. For the first ride I rented a board and paddled out with my host. A wave came up and up I went, for the first time on the first try. I rode it all the way back to the beach. A feeling of peace came over me. This is what I want to do the rest of my life. Riding on the waves, at the in between of air and water. Exhilarating stillness in motion. On the walk down from the overview a man named, Henry Jipi, who was floating on a ledge with his mini chute greeting the passersby, like me. We talked and I invited him to be in the project, and he invited me down to go surf by the beach. It was fate, it was friendship! From the sky towards the sea, we took flight in the air and on top of the water.
