Comments: At the night market with my friend Hean, I met up with Rathanak and Lynna. We all shared the local foods, some bugs, and lots of noodles! We talked about earlier in the day where Hean brought me to half of the archaeological sites and temples at Angkor Wat. There were mighty jungle trees growing through parts of the temple at Ta Prohm. There is an iconic relief in one of the walls of the monastery. It's called the Dinosaur of Ta Prohm. "Built by the epic builder king Jayavarman VII in the late 1100s, a small carving on a crumbling temple wall seems to show a dinosaur. a stegosaurus, to be exact." How could they have known the exact look or even existence of dinosaurs at that time period? Did they discover dinosaur bones then, if they had existed for millions of years I guess they can be dug up, or sticking out of the ground after geological events at any point in the past? Fragments and fossils of the past. As inspiration, weapons and tools, or decoration? It's fun to think about. Visiting these ancient sites makes me wonder. How are they built so well so long ago? How are they perfectly harmonious with the path of the rising sun and full lunar cycles? To the exact degree the corners are made with tools we don't have today. Facing the same direction and coordinates as the constellations that reflects the weight and measurements. Like a mathematical golden ratio that shifts the resonance and frequency of those who visit the site. A portal of healing and prayer. It is like time stops when you visit the past and its ancient mysteries. Where does our curiosity lead? Thoughts and ideas on how this could be. Who they could have been. How can this all be made. Where did they all go? And, how did we forget how to build or remember?
