At sundown every day they host an Arti on the docks of the Ganges river. Where the entire community and Ashram gather with their families and with fire to pray together. Its quite a beautiful and connective ritual. You all share the same experience and it becomes an event that everyone is included in the transcendental meditation of singing as one big family from all walks of life. When you keep coming back every night, its not just a novelty. It is a way of life, a way to deepen connections with oneself, the spirit, and the people all around you. Everything becomes more familiar. The fire dances as the songs blend together. We me this big beautiful family in the Ashram who welcomed us to goto their cousins wedding in Rajasthan. Kindness is all around you, you just have to open your eyes to see them, and be open to the hearts of others inviting you in. Then all of your prayers will be answered.
