Comments: We started the day at a sauna boat where you can sit in the heat and jump right into the Arctic ocean to take a cold plunge. It was invigorating to start the day this way, as the locals do! Max showed us around his wonderful town, the northern most city, in Norway. Where every night you can witness the glory of the Northern Lights. This was my third try to be enamored by the green lights in the sky. The first time was in Iceland at the beginning of this project, it was too cloudy. The second was in Alaska, and we were too South. Now, here we are! A place where you are guaranteed to see the dancing beams in the heavens at dawn. Before it got dark out, Max took us on a hike to forage for magic mushrooms. It was the season for it and it had just rained so it was ripe for them to pop up. We went into a cow field where he would usually find them. But to no luck for us we could not find any fresh liberty caps. However, he had a nice bag of little brown mushrooms he foraged weeks prior. We snacked on those along with his deer meat and Norwegian cheese. It was like sweet little charcuterie board with a bit of honey combs. As we were fumbling around and started to peak up in the hills looking for more magic on the ground we started to see the magic in the sky. It was dark out now and the city lights illuminated the lake that reflected a mirrored reality. It was quite beautiful to see from that vantage point. And as we walked the path back to the trail we were lead by Amanitas they were liked lanterns on a landing strip or in a dark movie theater. They were shining a bright red with their white fuzzy spots. These caps were all over the place and were massive! I had never seen one before today, and we saw more than a hundred. It felt like we came out of a Super Mario video game. Those red Amanitas as beautiful as they were like flowers growing from mycelium network underground. we did not eat them. They are toxic and take you to a psychedelic place you may not come back from, unless of course you drank it from a deer or boiled the toxins off. We teleported back to Max's house by the lake. While the guys were smoking cigarettes. I was in the parked car on the lawn. Unfortunately, my trip was was spiraling as I was arguing with the hired editor of the film since he was holding my undeveloped film hostage while extorting me and it was quite upsetting while I was tripping out. Ethan called out to me to come join them and so I "let it go" for now... I stood outside and looked up and was blown away by what I had seen. The mood had shifted instantaneously. It was like a ballet of green and pink energies circling around us above our heads. Shimmering and glimmering on a clear night sky while healing our souls. It was scary at first, scary beautiful. Then a calm cam over me, it brought me to tours and joy to see a mesmerizing light flicker for over an hour! Then it was gone into the night like it was never there. The suns plasma evaporated into the magnetic field of our planet. Cosmic forces at odds and in sync with a chaotic harmony that creates a spectrum of wonder and beauty.
