Comments: Our journey across the 50 states of the USA was completed. What makes America great is the people and the nature. The survey we did showed us that we are all the same and we are all different and that is the beauty of this place. Now, Ethan and I found ourselves in England to the days leading up to my birthday to visit the druid festival at Stonehenge on the Autumnal Equinox. Once we left the airport we found a wonderful taxi man named Steve. He is a cheerful fellow and took a liking to Ethan and I's style and adventure. We talked a lot in the cab to our next home. He fell in love with the art project we were working on. And so after we landed at our apartment for the next few days he patiently waited for us outside to pack our things then hit the road again. This time the meter was off, and drove us over to his favorite park in the city, Regents Park. And straight out of Dr. Who we teleported to an iconic London phone booth. The funny red phone box reveals a nostalgic longing for a simpler time and an idea of a place when our phones were not so smart, or even had one at all. You had to remember your family and friends phone number to reach someone. Steve parked his cab way in the back of this shot, its the black one there. And I wanted to honor this amazing man who drove us around all day getting to know one another better right out of the airport, I never had this type of connection before with someone like a cab service. But we broke through that barrier of business and made something more deep and special. An energy that transcends all of the bullshit commerce that dictates how society should operate. Disposable service never to be seen again, only by chance, maybe in a million years or so. We made a friend. and We made art with that friend. And of course I tipped him handsomely once he dropped us back to our place. Because time is money, and we did not want him to miss out on making that sweet bread while playing art with Ethan and I. We honor our friend Steve and his time. He even saved us later on in a dire situation when we needed to get back to the airport after we were stranded hours before our flight. He is like a kingsman who honors his duties and his comrades. Thank you Steve and I look forward to the next ride we have together. Perhaps to a movie screening in England to watch this film and enjoy your presence in it with this artifacts from the past that still act as a reservoir for preserving a telephonic culture that once was without throwing it all to the wayside. The red phone booth is now a staple in the metropolitan landscape just like a yellow cab in New York City.
