Rock with You by Michael Jackson (1979). A fruit fly circuit watched it for 3:21 and walked on a sheet of paper. It laid 33,605 marks and covered 67.7% of the plate. Every color came off the video. Nothing is picked from a palette, matched to a reference, or corrected afterwards, so this palette belongs to the clip and to nothing else. One playthrough makes one plate. There is no composition step, no target image and no second pass. The picture is whatever residue six feet leave behind. A music video is light. A documented circuit walks. The fly did not compose this.
