The Shape of Becoming
The Shape of Becoming explores the relationship between practice, movement, and transformation.
At the center, a hand-drawn human figure emerges from a collection of anatomical studies, gestures, faces, and unfinished sketches. The drawings in the background are studies and exercises accumulated through more than a year of continuous practice and observation of the human form.
They represent the unseen process behind the finished image — countless attempts, mistakes, observations, and discoveries that gradually shaped the artist’s understanding of the human body.
The figure appears to break free from the pages, suspended between being a drawing and becoming something alive.
This work is a reflection on artistic growth: every finished figure carries the memory of everything that came before it.(1640x2048 px)
