In a world moving on fast-forward, where are we standing in this path? Photographing snails wasn’t just capturing a subject for me; it was an excuse to practice “pausing.” When you stare for hours at a creature for which time has a completely different meaning, you gradually learn to breathe too and step away from the frantic speed around you.
