The Day After Forever
The Day After Forever is a personal exploration of life, death, and the soul, built around questions that may never have definitive answers.
The work moves through three interconnected states: Life, Death, and the Soul. Each section reflects on a different part of existence: what we experience, what we lose, what we leave behind, and what may exist beyond what we can understand.
Rather than offering a fixed interpretation, the work leaves space for uncertainty. Its symbols, from the guiding star and the red thread to the incomplete circle, form a continuous journey that moves from life to death, from death to the soul, and perhaps back to life again.
Created entirely by hand on canvas over nearly three months, the work combines graphite, charcoal, acrylic, ink, rhinestones, glitter, silver effects, and red thread.
