THE DISTANCE
Two presences can exist within the same frame and still inhabit completely different worlds. They can see each other without understanding, remain close without arriving, share a silence without ever truly sharing anything else.
The figures seem connected by proximity, but separated by something invisible. There is no obvious barrier between them, and perhaps that is what makes the distance more painful.
Connection is not measured by how close we are to someone, but by whether anything inside us is able to cross the distance between two lives.
