Summiting Mount Timpanogos was a strenuous, but immensely rewarding hike. My friends and I started around 1am, and summitted with only seconds to spare before watching the sunrise. The hike back down, however, made me question just how "worth it" the climb had been. Fortunately, a few mountain goats added to the scenery. I couldn't have imagined a more picturesque backdrop to pose the goat if I tried. It wasn't until after the hike that I realized, through photos, that this goat was missing part of one of its horns.
