At the start of a west coast road trip, my friends and I stayed the night in a small Oregon town called Vernonia, where I took this photo. We camped by a large pond, and realized that the alleged four-person tent would only fit 2 of the 3 of us. I opted to sleep outside and woke up to rain around 5am. But I wouldn't change a thing.
