Astrocorno
Name: Astrocorno
Stage: Newborn / Cub
Type: Sport / Celestial Beast
Height: 0.72 m
Weight: 16 kg
Description:
Astrocorno is the small creature born from the egg of the same name. Unlike other newborn chimeras, it does not show fear of the outside world; instead, as soon as it manages to stand, it instinctively searches for a ball. Its body combines the traits of a young goat with a strangely humanoid anatomy, allowing it to walk upright and move with coordination far beyond its age.
Its white fur, marked with soft light-blue patterns, seems to react when touching grass. Its small horns are not fully developed yet, but they already function as sensors for balance and orientation. Thanks to them, Astrocorno can calculate the distance between its body, the ball, and the goal with almost supernatural precision.
From its earliest days, scientists noticed one impossible detail: its left leg was clearly dominant. While most newborn creatures moved clumsily, Astrocorno could caress the ball with its left foot, change its direction, and keep it close to its body as if the ball obeyed an invisible force.
Story:
The first records of Astrocorno did not come from a laboratory, but from a small neighborhood pitch. There, it was seen playing with a children’s team known as Los Cebollitas, a humble group of restless dreamers who almost always ended every match covered in dirt.
At first, many underestimated it because of its size. Astrocorno was smaller than the others, slow to grow, and physically fragile. Its bones took longer to strengthen, its horns developed unevenly, and its body seemed to require more energy than usual to mature. Some coaches even believed it would never be able to compete against larger and stronger creatures.
But watching it touch the ball just once was enough to understand that there was something different about it... Astrocorno did not chase the ball like the others. It guided it...
Its movements were short, quick, and almost silent. It could slip through tiny spaces between opponents, dodge legs, change direction without losing speed, and leave much larger creatures behind. It did not seem to need strength, because its gift came from somewhere else: balance, intuition, and a way of understanding the game before it happened.
The old men from the neighborhood began saying that Astrocorno did not play football. It remembered it. As if every dribble had already happened somewhere in time.
Behavior:
Astrocorno is shy off the pitch, but completely different when a ball appears in front of it. At rest, it tends to stay close to its teammates, observing quietly and reacting with a slight smile to applause or words of encouragement.
On the field, however, its personality changes. It becomes focused, unpredictable, and deeply competitive. It does not try to intimidate or impose itself physically; instead, it solves every situation with creativity. If three opponents surround it, it finds a fourth path. If the goal seems closed, it invents a new angle.
It has a strange emotional connection with small teams and children who play purely for the love of the sport. When it hears laughter on a dirt field, its eyes glow with a deep light-blue tone, as if that energy directly feeds its evolution.
Fun Fact:
During a youth match with Los Cebollitas, Astrocorno received the ball near midfield. According to witnesses, it advanced past every opponent without anyone being able to touch it. When it reached the goal, instead of shooting with power, it gently pushed the ball with its left foot. The ball rolled in slowly, as if it had chosen the path by itself.
From that day on, coaches began secretly recording its plays. Some claimed that its body was still small, but its mind already belonged to a creature destined to dominate entire stadiums.
Evolution:
Over time, if Astrocorno manages to overcome its growth problems and strengthen its bond with the ball, it will evolve into a much faster, more technical, and more resilient juvenile form. This stage will mark the beginning of a legend: the transformation of an underestimated little cub into a creature capable of changing the history of football forever.
