Be your own Queen
For too long, we women have learned to see ourselves through the eyes of others, measuring our worth by their expectations, shrinking beneath their judgments, and sometimes hiding parts of ourselves just to be loved.
But our worth was never theirs to define.
It is time to reclaim our crowns, not as symbols of power over others, but as reminders of the power we hold within ourselves. To love ourselves as we are, with all our imperfections, scars, differences, dreams, and colors. To embrace ourselves in our strength and our vulnerability, in our beauty and our flaws, without asking the world for permission.
We do not have to become someone else to deserve love. We do not have to fit into anyone’s idea of beauty to be worthy. Our true beauty lies in the courage to be unapologetically ourselves.
As Rumi reminds us, our true worth is found within, in the precious essence of who we are:
“Though you are earthly in form,
you carry a jewel of divine truth within.”
Let us celebrate ourselves before waiting for the world to recognize us. Let us become queens of our own lives, not by ruling over others, but by refusing to let anyone diminish our worth.
Before the world places a crown upon your head, be your own queen.
Because the first love we must nurture is the love we give ourselves. 💙
