Artitude
My Life at 16
I sat for hours in my rehab room.
Sketching this drawing and creating the escape from the walls I was confined to.
The staff allowed me into the padded room, to relieve the frustrations I had that afternoon. A number 2 pencil and paper white like the moon. They helped me more than therapy and the drugs I consumed. Peace finally came through art in the rehab room.
This artwork has made it through the birth of my son, Malachi, 2 divorces, 6 suicide attempts, and my journey through sobriety.
The person who decided to purchase this digital version of my artwork will have the option to receive the physical art as well.
