The Things We Become is an ongoing collection of surreal portraits exploring the fragile boundary between identity and transformation. In these works, the human figure becomes a vessel for something other an animal, a landscape, a memory, a fragment of the cosmos. Faces disappear, bodies merge, and familiar realities quietly give way to the impossible. Each work asks a simple question: What do we become when the boundaries that define us begin to disappear?
