This artwork comes from a much more intimate, heavier place for me. This title strips away the commentary on the world and just looks inward at the weight I carry. When I see that briefcase on the swing, I feel the exhaustion of holding on to unresolved things. It is about that quiet grief of realizing my adult burdens have literally taken the place of my innocence. It feels raw, like acknowledging a loss I cannot quite put into words.
