Nestled
An epic alignment of events from a clearing storm at sunset that left lingering low clouds around the skyline, high clouds partially revealing snow capped peaks, and an unforgettable display of light as the sun set from behind. The Los Angeles skyline is dwarfed by the San Gabriel Mountains, which are compressed together by the use of a telephoto lens. The post storm visibility was impressive with about a 50 mile stretch from the Del Amo Fashion Center in the foreground to the peaks in the back. A rare angle only visible on the clearest of days.
