Foggy Descent
A remarkably rare angle to catch coastal fog under Los Angeles from Palos Verdes with the San Gabriel Mountains towering over the skyline. The PV overlook sits at ~1,200 ft in elevation so coastal fog less than 1,000 ft is needed to be able to capture a shot like this; which I have only had the privilege to witness once in 2020. The alignment with LAX makes this a great angle to capture the scale of the scene as planes prepare for their final descent. The heat, fog and other atmospheric elements make visibility extremely difficult but extremely rewarding to be able to capture.
