Everyday is a good day to spread awareness 🌻 This collage of photography in the Sunflowers Over Suicide Collection was inspired by Beeple’s monumental Everyday Collage that sold in 2021 for $69.3 million dollars at Christie’s These sunflowers are grown at mine and my son’s home in Greenup, Illinois. April - August each season I am admiring and caring for these sunflowers as they sprout, grow and die. I harvest these sunflower seeds to plant for the following season. The photography captured of them so they live forever on the blockchain. National Association for Suicide Prevention states that 703,000 people take their own lives every year world wide on average. That means that we lose 80 people every 24 hours from this earth.
