Sunflowers Over Suicide
Light of Lazarus
Jesus wept at Lazarus’ Tomb due to His empathy for the grief of Mary and Martha, His sorrow over the tragedy of death itself caused by sin, and His foreknowledge of the painful sacrifice He would need to make for humanity's redemption. (John 11)
Lazarus and the rich man
The moral lesson of the parable of the rich man and Lazarus is the importance of compassion, empathy, and charity towards the less fortunate, emphasizing that one's treatment of others has eternal consequences. (Luke 16:19-31)
