THE LAST SIGNAL
Signal IX: Where Names Collapse
A solitary figure stands before a threshold so absolute that the language of self begins to fail in its presence. From where identity once gathered into face and form now rises a dense structure of roots, severed cables, and unresolved transmission—an interior architecture too transformed to remain bound by any former name. In this work, collapse is no longer physical or even personal; it is symbolic. Titles, histories, and identities loosen their hold as consciousness approaches something more essential than definition. Where Names Collapse is a meditation on the moment when the self is not yet gone, but can no longer be spoken in the language that once sustained it.
He had already lost his face.
Now he was losing the words
that once made him someone.
Not death.
Not erasure.
Just the failure of every name
before what was becoming.
