THE LAST SIGNAL
Signal XII: The Final Threshold
A solitary figure stands at the last boundary between ruin and absolution, carrying only the faint remains of a consciousness transformed by memory, collapse, silence, and light. The roots and severed cables rising from where identity once gathered no longer signal growth or conflict, but the final traces of a self nearly refined beyond form. Before him opens a threshold so absolute that nothing in the old language of personhood can fully cross it intact. In this concluding work, transcendence is neither spectacle nor escape. It is the final reduction—the moment when everything nonessential has fallen away, and only essence remains before passage.
There was nothing left to lose
except the shape that had carried him here.
No name.
No burden.
No past asking to survive.
Only the last step
before becoming
what could not return.
