Patina
Copper turns green when it meets the air. This surface carries the same mark of time: turquoise pools, rust-colored areas, a golden crust. The plastic was once used and discarded. Through heat and my hands, it passed into another form. Patina reminds us that time does not arrive all at once but builds up through moments, layer upon layer. Each moment leaves a small trace on the surface, and none of them disappears. Form is where these traces rest together.
