Originally minted on the OpenSea shared contract alongside the publication of my photo book, "WENDOVER" in October 2021, this collection was migrated to a smart contract in March of 2023. "In a collection of photos mostly devoid of people, the question inevitably gets asked: where are all of the people in this town? "I would walk by people on the street occasionally as I was working on this project, but I generally thought of Wendover as a particularly quiet town—especially as the project was shot during the COVID era. While the casino parking lots were usually fairly full, nothing prepared me for how busy and crowded the casinos were. There were people at nearly every machine, cigarette smoke permanently scenting the air. The call of the casinos was heard loud and clear."
