Originally minted on the OpenSea shared contract alongside the publication of my photo book, "WENDOVER" in October 2021, this collection was migrated to a smart contract in March of 2023. This photo was taken on medium format film during the 2021 Bonneville Speed Week. The main subject of the photo is the driver of #27, immortalized in a photograph that preserves ambiguity as to whether he is getting in or out of the car. Here, the boundary depicted is the car itself—in or out—and both places on either side of the boundary have very different purposes and possibilities. It's a barrier of sorts that only the driver is authorized to cross.
